Our process servers are available to serve court documents in Toronto, Hamilton and surrounding areas day and night. Most of our legal documents are attempted once or twice within 24 hours of receipt of same.
Once the legal document is successfully served we will phone you and advise you or email you depending on the information provided to us.

What is a Process Server?

A process server is a person who serves legal documents on your behalf. They prepare the required affidavits of service and keep proper notes on the details of their serve, description of person served and sometimes licence plate numbers of vehicles present at the time of service.
Our process servers are well-mannered individuals specially trained to meet the stringent requirements of our clientele.
What does a Process Server do?
A process server will take the documents for service and serve them upon the individual or company required to receive same. At the time of service our process server will request identification.
Once the document has been served, the process server will make a note of the date and time of service and manner of service for preparation of the Affidavit of Service.

What type of documents need to be served personally?

Many legal processes require personal service of documents. Personal service does not always mean that the person named must receive the documents. Often times, it means a document can be left with any adult member of the same household as long as an additional copy is mailed within 24 hours.
Our staff is fully versed with the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Small Claims Court Rules of Service and know what types of documents must be served personally, alternate to personal or other (See links to rules in each court below).
